Trenchless Drain Replacement: Sewer Pipe Repair

DrainContractorsDirect is here to cater to all of your plumbing needs, for fraction of the price, that big franchise companies usually charge their clients

Trenchless Drain replacement, or sewer pipe repair is complete with the use of special equipment, known as pipe bursting system. To replace the pipe, a part of that pipe is digged at the property line and a second hole is usually made at the front wall. In one place a machine is installed which is pulling the cable that has been inserted through the existing drain pipe. On the other side bursting head is attached to the cable which in turn demolishes the old pipe and pulls a new line of pipes in its place. On the bursting head itself exists a feature which strengthens the water pipe, meaning that at the time of the sewer line replacement, we can replace the water line as well. Please note that this option is possible ONLY if the water line is located underground right beside the main drain. With the right equipment, we will be able to replace up to 75 feet of the STRAIGHT pipe line. The use of this specific machinery/equipment is impossible when handling pipes with severe caving inwards and/or outwards, if there are areas of the pipe that go upwards and/or downwards and if the pipe is holding water in that place. In these cases, the areas should be digged up and the pipe leveled.
